I’m not going to reveal what the ultimate asset is in this post, but I do want to give you a few hints and things to think about that are related before I start releasing the content on Tuesday.

Across consumer markets, attention is becoming the scarcest – and so most strategically vital – resource in the value chain. Attention scarcity is fundamentally reshaping the economics of most industries it touches. (Hague 2005)

Attention deficiency will kill your business. If you can’t get the attention of your market, you can’t make your offer. If you can’t make your offer you don’t make money. It’s that simple. Unfortunately, in the information age, attention is getting increasingly scarce.

In my upcoming e-book I discuss the source of this scarcity and how you can overcome it. The ultimate asset I referred to above also happens to be the ultimate cure for attention scarcity.
