FeedBurner just announced a new feature that I’ve been wanting for quite awhile. Now you can transfer a feed from one account/login to another. If you’ve been using separate logins for different feeds, you know that it can be a pain to deal with. (Or maybe you were smarting than me and just used one account to begin with.) The process, however, is not as straight forward as outlined on their site.
The first time I tried a transfer, it didn’t work. Fortunately I figured out what the problem was. In order to make this work for you, carefully follow the steps I’ve listed below.
- Sign in to your account that contains the feed you want to transfer.
- In the My Feeds list, click the title of the feed you want to send to another account.
- Click the Transfer Feed link.
- Enter the email address for the account that you want to transfer the feed to and submit.
- LOGOUT of FeedBurner. if you don’t logout of the first FeedBurner account, the rest won’t work. You’ll be taken right back into the same account and left scratching your head.
- Check the inbox for the email address for the account you are transferring to. You should have received a confirmation link. Click this link.
- You’ll be prompted to FeedBurner. Login to the account that you are transferring to.
- When you login, you will be provided with a button to confirm the transfer.
- If all goes well, you should see the new feed listed in its new home.
Follow those easy steps and it should save you some frustration. Hopefully FeedBurner fixes this hiccup in an otherwise excellent feature for their service.

This new feature of feedburner will be beneficial to those who keep up several blogs ane the feeds associated with them. I’ll be watching for how well it is received.

Is this the process I would use to send two feeds to one podcast? I’m a little confused.
I would like to send my utterz.com feed to my existing feedburner feed for my podcast.
EXAMPLE:
Feed 1: my normal blog/podcast feed
Feed 2: my utterz feed (for short, quick tips)
Feed 1 + Feed 2 = My Podcast…
Is this what I would do? Or is it even possible?

Utterz can post to your blog/podcast. Set it up to do that and then all the Utterz content goes right into your podcast feed through your blog.

Thanks for the info this is exactly what I was looking for… (you can cancel old accounts for those who interested)
