Here are answers to the most commonly asked questions about my Professional Podcasting course and coaching program that opens for limited enrollment on Tuesday.
Q: What kind of course is this?
The course is an eight week in-depth, no holds barred webinar series and coaching program where I’ll personally walk you through the entire system I use to launch and promote successful podcasts for myself and my business clients. It provides you with everything you need to create a professional podcast of your own. This course will shave months and thousands of dollars off of your learning curve.
Every week, for eight weeks, you’ll have access to a live intensive online training session where I walk you through the system, step-by-step. Then you’ll get a recording of the session as well as a weekly Quick Action Guide full of carefully selected links, tools, checklists and suggested tasks to keep you on track. You’ll get everything you need to launch your podcast by the end of the course.
You’ll also get plenty of opportunities to ask questions live, email me, crawl insiide my mind and extract every last secret.
Q: What is professional podcasting?
“Professional podcasting” is the system that I’ve created for anyone who wants to use podcasting to further serious business or personal aspirations. It’s a step-by-step system based on a set of practices that bring maximum return on investment when it comes to things like making money, strengthening a brand, promotion and acquiring valuable business opportunities. The entire system is based on what I currently do for myself as well as my consulting clients including consultants, professionals, activists, startups, educators and corporations.
Q: Who is the course for?
This course is for you if you’re serious about using this cutting-edge medium to:
- Strengthen your brand
- Attract new customers
- Boost profits
- Promote products and services
- Become a media-recognized expert
This course is ideal for:
- Anyone with an existing business (on- or offline, b2b, or consumer)
- Podcasters who want to turn their interests/expertise into a profitable business
- Anyone who wants to develop and promote a personal brand (professionals, consultants, authors, etc.)
- ANYONE who wants to launch their profits, lead-generation and customer retention into the Social Media Age
Q: What will I learn?
I’ve crammed too much into this course to list everything here. I’ll release a detailed outline very soon. In a nutshell, you’ll learn everything you need to launch and run a professional podcast exactly like I do for my business clients and my own podcasts. Here are the titles of the eight modules of the system.
- MODULE 1: Mastering Social Media: RSS, Blogging and Podcasting 101
- MODULE 2: Secrets of Killer Content Creation
- MODULE 3: Choosing Quality Gear and Software on Any Budget
- MODULE 4: Podcast Production: How to Sound Like the Pros
- MODULE 5: Preparing User-Friendly Media for Mass Audience Appeal
- MODULE 6: Instant Podcast Publishing: RSS without the Fuss
- MODULE 7: How to Attract and Interact with Community of Loyal Fans
- MODULE 8: Using Your Podcast to Make More Money, Promote Your Business & Become and Online Celebrity
Q: What if I’m not a technology geek like you? Can I still understand the course material?
I’ll go through every step in everyday terms. You won’t need a geek-speak dictionary to follow along. But don’t just take my word for it:
“As of today I have not found more concise and well written instructions on podcasting for beginners.” Stanley Dalnekoff, New Haven, CT
“Since I don’t use computers in my work anymore, I have fallen behind in my technological skills and knowledge. I would never have felt confident enough to even consider creating my own podcast if I hadn’t found your site. Now I’m not intimidated…” Diane, Keane, NH
Q: Can’t all the info from this course be found in books?
There are numerous podcasting books available. I’ve read pretty much every one. Some are better than others. But they all the same problems when it comes to teaching you how to podcast.
- Podcasting is progressing so quickly that as soon as a book hits the shelf, it’s out of date. Did you know that one of the most popular “how to podcast” books is already two years old and doesn’t even talk about iTunes!
- A book can’t SHOW you what to do. Many aspects of podcasting you have to see to understand. This course will give you the opportunity to “look over my shoulder” and watch exactly how I do things. That way you’ll learn in a fraction of the time.
- Many podcasting books neglect to talk about critical ingredients of podcasting. They give plenty of advice on gear and recording, but leave out vital practices that will cost you listeners if neglected.
- Some books were written by people who are no longer podcasting. To really master this medium, you need to learn from someone who is currently active in the industry. I’ve been actively involved in podcasting for over two years now and have helped dozens of people start podcasts in a variety of fields.
Q: How much time will it take to go through the course and launch my podcast?
This is in-depth course and coaching program lasts for eight weeks. Each week there’s an online training session that will last about an hour or two. The time it takes you to implement the steps I present will vary, but you’ll have my direct guidance to help you do so.
Throughout the course I’ll outline tips for streamlining the workflow. I’ll show you how to outsource and automate as much as possible.
During the eight-week program you can easily get your own podcast up and running.

Don’t mean to be difficult, but you, of all people, should understand that ‘teasing’ a price is very bad marketing. That’s why it’s almost never done. How many prospects are going to follow up on a price-blind offer when it’s not clear up front whether or not they can afford it in the first place? Many potential subscribers simply will not make the effort to return to your site to learn the price. You have lost them forever.

@ R.
I had to give a chuckle at this one. “Bad Marketing” is a term that cannot be used unless you know the OUTCOME of the strategy used! How can you know if it is bad?? We just used that strategy and had 30%+ conversion! In a world where you are hoping for a 1% conversion I think the strategy worked like gang-busters! If that is ‘bad’ marketing, count me in!

@R. Demers,
There’s no “price-blind offer” because no offer has been made yet. I’ve simply indicated when the entire offer will be posted, which seems the best time to include the price–when you have the detailed list of everything included in the offer.
All the info I’ve provided up to this point has been to let my readers/listeners in on the this process–a little something that seems to work well in this age of digital relationships and social media interactions.
People have been coming to my sites for a long time because they find value in its high-quality information and resources. I don’t need to use “price teases” to get people to pay attention.
